No green dye, but still moisture resistant!

15.06.2007

As of 11th June 2007 EGGER have removed the green dye from EGGER T&G panels.

Although EGGER boards (EGGER P5 and EGGER PCX) no longer have their visible green surface, they remain CE certified as complying with P5 grade and are clearly identified through their surface stamp and packaging.  As EGGER will continue to conform to the strict standard of P5, you can be assured that this change does not alter the quality in any way.

Further to this we have consulted with the NHBC over this change and they have assured us that this will not cause them an issue as their inspectors are required to not rely solely on the green surface for assurance of MR properties.  Furthermore the NHBC will communicate this change internally to their inspectors.
