EGGER UK Ltd have introduced 8 new decors into their ZOOM® range

Leading wood-based panel manufacturer EGGER UK has unveiled its new grey concept.  Proof once again that they are industry leaders in design competence.   

EGGER is confident that its new grey tones will be the colour scheme that will replace the current craze for brown. "Lately we’ve seen trends move towards black and white combinations, so we have developed the new grey tones to build the bridge and soften the contrast between them," explains EGGER UK Product Manager Andrew Sanderson.  The neutrality of these grey decors means that they work well in combination with a wide range of woodgrains and at the same time, provide a subtle contrast with white, black and last season's rich shades, including aubergine, green and blue.  Andrew adds: “For many people grey might conjure up images of cool, almost mechanical colours, which were around at the end of the 1990s, but we've developed a much wider spectrum of grey shades which bring warmth and subtle contrasts.

"At EGGER we have divided these new grey tones into three groups.  The first belongs to warm brown greys and in this group we have two decors - U741 Lava and U795 Brown Grey, which follows on from the previous trend for brown. Pale green-grey shades form the second group and include 3 decors, from the light U100 Mussel, to the mid toned U717 Dakar, through to the rich U631 Olive. The final group of cool blue grey is very much a future trend with U732 Dust Grey the only decor in this group so far.”

All of these new greys are produced with Egger’s innovative ST9 surface texture, which create a soft, luxurious “powder coated” finish.
Following the success and unanimous acceptance of these colours during an eight-week in-house exhibition at the company’s Hexham plant in Northumberland, EGGER UK have decided to bring all 6 of these grey tones into their standard range and are now available to order.
