EGGER have introduced an on-line tool to aid furniture designers and fabricators to access a host of design tips on how to make the most of ZOOM® decors and related products using the new ZOOM® Design Guide at http://www.egger.co.uk

EGGER launches ‘ZOOM Design Guide’

A new Online-Tool for furniture manufacturers

Leading European wood-based panel manufacturer, EGGER UK, is now offering Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom designers a practical way of utilising the various products in its ZOOM collection.

Furniture Designers and fabricators will be able to access a host of design tips on how to make the most of ZOOM decors and related products using the new online ZOOM Design Guide at www.egger.co.uk. 

Clients will be able to view video clips and listen to EGGER design experts provide background to the materials in the collection and how best to use and combine decors.

EGGER Product Manager Klaus Monhoff said: “Furniture and interior design trends are becoming increasingly individual and varied. The ZOOM Design Guide is a tool to assist with planning and design. For instance, if you select a particular decor for a retail project we aim to show you the type of material that would be best to use for each application area, as well as provide inspiration with our design tips and material recommendations.”

 Design for life

The ZOOM Design Guide takes the user on a journey through three "furnishing worlds" in both the commercial and domestic sectors. It shows both the current and future trends in the ZOOM collection, providing design suggestions to inspire individual projects and recommends the most suitable materials. 

EGGER Product Manager Klaus Monhoff explains: "Depending on its purpose, creating a stylish and contemporary interior poses numerous challenges with respect to design and materials, whether in the commercial or domestic sphere. In the ZOOM Design Guide EGGER demonstrates its design and structural solutions to meet these challenges."

The Design Guide acts as a backup for furniture designers and fabricators when discussing projects with clients. It’s up-to-the-minute with reports on the latest trade fairs, new products and interior design news, providing a reliable reference point for designers.

Fashions, combinations and materials

For the domestic market, the three room scenarios are the bathroom, kitchen and living room, and for the commercial sector, there are example scenarios for hotels, shops and trade fairs. 

In each case, the decor is explained and details are provided as well as Q & A’s including: Can Eurolight board be used for this counter? Which decor was used for this kitchen front? What collection is this floor from and where else can it be used? Answers to these questions and others are just a mouse click away. Since EGGER’s new Eurolight board plays an important role in many room designs, there is also a film available for download on how to use this innovative lightweight material.

EGGER design experts Klaus Monhoff and Verena Michaels explain general trends in decor, colour and materials for each scenario and shed more light on the materials used. They show examples of how the decors can be combined: "The ZOOM collection provides numerous options in any living or commercial space. The ZOOM Design Guide allows us to support furniture designers and fabricators when choosing decors and materials", says Product Manager Monhoff. There is also a special combination list, which contains four colour-coordinated combination tips for each of the 240 ZOOM decors.

The EGGER design experts have provided helpful comments with the list which acts as a backup for fabricators when discussing projects with clients. The list can also be downloaded separately and EGGER offers a free sample-ordering service.
