The recycling company Timberpak was founded with its headquarters in Leeds. In Leeds the wood recycling is collected and prefolded and then it is transported to Hexham. 50,000 tonnes are handled each year.
A saw for cutting made-to-measure custom boards was installed at Hexham. |

EGGER Forestry Ltd was founded with its headquarters in Hexham, with the principal activity of managing, harvesting and marketing of woodlands. 250,000 tons of wood material are delivered annually to Hexham (11%), Barony (26%) and also to a number of different saw mills (63%). |
