EGGER Peel Clean Xtra is a BBA approved moisture-resistant board, coated with an anti-skid polyethylene film. It is ideal for refurbishment/renovation and for modular/pre-fab construction. The EGGER P5 flooring grade chipboard (for further information please click here) is covered with a hot melt wax upon which a gloss laminated surface polythene film is applied, creating EGGER Peel Clean Xtra. The polyethylene film protects the boards from site soil and wet trades during construction. Once the building work is complete, the film can be easily removed to provide a clean and well presented appearance to the floor prior to handover.
We recommend that the joints and perimeter edges of EGGER Peel Clean Xtra are sealed using EGGER D4 Adhesive (for further information please click here) to prevent moisture ingress from wet trades. Once peeled away from the top surface of the board the film is suitable for disposal and recycling through a polythene recycling process.
EGGER do not recommend EGGER Peel Clean Xtra for exposed use such as pre-deck floors.
The board is manufactured in accordance with EN312-5:2003, and has been independently audited by WKI to meet CE guidelines. All UK production is FSC certified by BM Trada (for further details please click here)
