EGGER Peel Clean Xtra is a moisture-resistant board, coated with an anti-skid polyethylene film. It is ideal for new build, refurbishment/ renovation and for modular/pre-fab construction. The EGGER P5 flooring grade chipboard (for further information please click here) is covered with a hot melt wax upon which a gloss laminated surface polythene film is applied, creating EGGER Peel Clean Xtra. The polyethylene film protects the boards from site soil and wet trades during construction and once correctly laid, Peel Clean Xtra can be left exposed to the elements for up to 42 days during the build process. Once the building work is complete, the film can be easily removed to provide a clean and well presented appearance to the floor prior to handover. EGGER Peel Clean Xtra is CE Certified and posesses the coverted BBA Certificate both for the board itself and for use as a component in the Rapid Deck floor laying system (click here for further details). Peel Clean Xtra is Ideal as a floor across joists, can be laid during light rain thus reducing weather related stoppages and resulting in speedier completions. Joints and perimeter edges of EGGER Peel Clean Xtra should be sealed using EGGER D4 Adhesive (for further information please click here) to prevent moisture ingress from wet trades. Once peeled away from the top surface of the board the film is suitable for disposal and recycling through a polythene recycling process. The board is manufactured in accordance with EN312-5:2003, and has been independently audited by WKI to meet CE guidelines.
