EGGER Thin MDF
|

EGGER thin MDF boards are extra thin, medium density fibreboards, produced on a calender processing system, to give an even surface of fine fibres. Primarily made from softwoods such as spruce, pine and fir; for special applications the addition of up to 10% hardwood such as beech may be added. As binding agents, thermosetting glue systems with extremely low formaldehyde content are utilised. The hardener does not contain chlorine.

- Technical values above the standard
- Available either unsanded or sanded on one or both sides
- Flexible and mouldable, 2D and 3D moulded components can be produced
- Suitable for a variety of surface finishes: lacquer, electronic beam cured varnish, finish foil, laminate, veneer
- Thicknesses: 2.4 to 6 mm
