EGGER thin MDF boards are extra thin, medium density fibreboards, produced on a calender processing system, to give an even surface of fine fibres.

Primarily made from softwoods such as spruce, pine and fir; for special applications the addition of up to 10% hardwood such as beech may be added. As binding agents, thermosetting glue systems with extremely low formaldehyde content are utilised. The hardener does not contain chlorine.
