The innovative aspect of this board is in the special combination of fibre preparation, fibre ergonomics and high density that allow lacquer to be applied during a conventional production process even if this includes a light sanding of the board. All this, WITHOUT the need of primer application or similar preparatory production stages.
As only de-barked wood varieties are used, the result is a very light coloured board. This carries significant advantages over conventional MDF, HDF or hardboard when using light coloured veneers, thin foils and lacquers.
The physical properties are above MDF standard EN 622-5
- Very high internal bond and perpendicular tensile strengths
(more than twice the required standard for MDF and hardboard)
- Very low swell values
- Very high elasticity module values
- Good bending strength
- Directly paintable
