EUROSTRAND® OSB 8000 is the latest innovation from the Egger group, specifically designed as a heavy duty load bearing board for construction and industrial applications.
Manufactured at our plant in Wismar (Germany) EUROSTRAND® OSB 8000 is manufactured in accordance with EN300:1997 and CE approved, using a formaldehyde-free PDMI binder to further reduce the boards emmission potential.
It is ideal for large prefabricated components for the housebuilding industry due to the considerable elastomechanical properties of the board owing to the specific strand geometry (strands at least 150 mm in the surface layers) and a high degree of fibre orientation in the surface layers (optimised relationship between core and surface layers) give this board its excellent technical properties. This technological edge is reflected in considerably increased strength values.
