3 layer particle boards, designed to withstand the intense heat of a major fire

The EGGER range of EUROSPAN^® Type P2 Fire Door Cores are highly engineered, 44 mm 3 layer particle boards. Manufactured from a selected wood chip mix, bonded with UF resin, the EUROSPAN^® door cores form an integral component in a doors’ front line fire protection. EGGER P2 EUROSPAN^® particleboard is manufactured to EN 312-2:2003 and is FSC certified through the  HolzCert Austria Chain of Custody Certificate number HCA-COC-100017.

EUROSPAN^® Fire Doors are designed to provide a minimum of 30 minutes fire resistance and hold the coveted BM Trada Q Mark certificate. Tested by Chiltern International EUROSPAN^® FD30 doors have exceeded the minimum requirements set out in BS476 Part 22: 1987. Fire test RF01029 and RF01048 (Global assessment CHILT/A01065 REVISION A) applies.

EUROSPAN^® Fire Door Cores are 44 mm thick and are available in the sizes stated in the stock programme. Ideal as a door core for laminating and veneering on to.

Also available from EGGER are a collection of door sized laminates, the collection covers 70 laminate decors ranging from traditional to exotic wood reproductions, with everything from contemporary uni colours to metallic fantasy decors, all manufactured to the proven EGGER quality standard. When combined with the extensive decor range in the ZOOM^® collection there is no design or material requirement that cannot be met. The well-proven EGGER laminate looks stylish, is resistant to abrasion and is hard wearing. Door laminates are manufactured in a thickness of  0.8 mm and are available in the following four sizes:
