EGGER thin chipboard is extra-thin fine chipboard produced using the calendering process. The gradual transition within the chipboard structure (fine chips on the surface, larger chips in the middle of the board) gives EGGER thin chipboards a particularly fine and smooth surface. The binder used on them is an artificial resin which is extremely low in formaldehyde and cures when heat is applied. The curing agent is chloride-free.
